Softball

Auburn fields a co-ed softball team in the Capitol Alumni Network (CAN), a organization serving the metropolitan DC area that, among other things, brings together a large number of alumni groups to compete in intramural-type sporting events. The CAN softball season begins in early April and concludes with a league-wide tournament in August. Auburn joined the softball league in 2005, and has fared very well against the competition, winning 3 division titles (2005, 2006, 2009) and finishing in the top-5 the past two post-season tournaments. Auburn is by far the most successful SEC alumni group in the CAN softball league, and our success is due to the great abilities and personalities of our Auburn alumni. Anyone interested in playing softball is encouraged to come out and show your Auburn spirit – especially when we beat ‘Bama.
